Apple Podcasts

The largest podcast directory globally and a major platform in France. Apple Podcasts categorizes shows by language, so setting your language to French in your RSS feed ensures you appear in French-language charts and search. French listeners use Apple Podcasts heavily, especially on iPhone.

Spotify has a massive and growing French audience. It's particularly popular with younger listeners (18–34) and is often the first place people discover new podcasts in France. Spotify's algorithm can surface your show to relevant listeners even without a large existing following.

Podcast Addict is an Android app with a notably strong following in France. If your audience includes Android users in France, being in Podcast Addict is worth the effort. It aggregates from other directories, so your show may appear automatically once you're on Apple Podcasts or Spotify.

YouTube Podcasts

YouTube has integrated podcast functionality, allowing shows with RSS feeds to appear on the platform. Given YouTube's enormous reach in France, it's worth submitting — even audio-only shows can gain listeners here. Note: Google Podcasts was shut down in 2024 and redirects to YouTube Podcasts.
